The tilt table assembly is capable of +60° to -60° degrees of rotation from the horizontal home position. The table is supported by oversize tapered roller bearings to provide a low friction, maintenance free pivot. The table has the ability to provide up to 600 Nm of peak torque. An angular transducer (ADT) is mounted on the pivot shaft for closed loop control; a coupling is included to protect the sensor from shaft misalignment and vibration. The table may be mechanically locked to allow the frame to be used for classic materials and component tests if desired. The tilt center of rotation, adjustable per ISO 22675, includes indication marks for repetitive offset locations, depending on foot size.
