Description
Easy to use, manual screw-action wedge grip for high strength clamping of flat or round material samples. Grip body moves upwards for clamping, wedges move only horizontally and the clamping lengths is thus constant, independent of specimen thickness. The main gripping force is generated during testing taking advantage of the wedge effect.
Application
Tensile testing of various materials, including metal, plastics, composites, wood.
